CAM-ICCM Workshop

The Consortium of Applied Mathematicians, ICCM (CAM-ICCM) was formed in 2012, with the aim of promoting scientific exchange and collaboration among Chinese applied mathematicians. The main activity of CAM-ICCM is to organize yearly workshops in applied mathematics, held at different member institutions, covering different focus topics in different years. Researchers and students from member institutions and other places are encouraged to attend. The host institution covers local expenses, while other member institutions pay for their faculty and students to come to the workshops.
The first CAM-ICCM workshop was held in December 2012 at Tsinghua University, Beijing, on imaging science. The second CAM-ICCM workshop was held in December 2013 at National Tsinghua University, Hsinchu, Taiwan, on numerical linear algebra and high performance computing. The third CAM-ICCM workshop was held in December 2014 at National Taiwan University on structured matrices and tensors. The fourth CAM-ICCM workshop was held in March, 2015 at the Morningside Center of Mathematics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, on optimization, sparsity and data analysis. The fifth CAM-ICCM workshop was held in June, 2016 at the Chinese University of Hong Kong, on multiscale and large scale scientific computing.
In the future, CAM-ICCM, as a section of ICCM, will continue organizing workshops and other scientific programs to promote scientific exchange and collaboration among Chinese applied mathematicians.
